Pushing Rewind

I would be lying if I said I was not scared......

It has been an amazing month of July, and believe me, I realize how fortunate I am to have a month with every member of my four wall family. We had many little adventures this month. Through those adventures we learned that it is time to "come out of the cave" so to speak and press forward. We learned that our children are flexible and willing to roll with the flow. We are a great family, and we have a 2 and 3 year old cherubs that amaze us everyday. We are sharing the world with them and they with the world. And we are PROUD.

So, why am I scared? Because tomorrow the Dad-O goes back to work and I will do the greater part of this job alone. All the "we" in the above paragraph turns into "I" for a large percentage of the day. And I am NOT sure I can do this alone. (I do realize that I am NEVER totally alone) I want to push the rewind button! I want the 1st of July to be here all over again. I want to go to Saint Louis, Tulsa, KC, Roaring River, Silver Dollar City, with my kids in my arms and my husband by my side. But that is not physically possible.

To adjust to a new kind of normal around here, I thought it would be fun to press forward in my real, everyday life, but rewind on this blog. After all, this blog was created to document the musings of this family, and I have not done that for a month now. So my plan is to blog about our recent adventures to document all the fun we had and to remind me that I....I.....I can do this! And as I blog, I will reminisce with my babes. I will continue to take pictures and go on mini-ventures with the tag-a-longs, and I will focus on the moment, pressing forward.

But each day, at least until normal "feels" normal again, I will take a few moments on this blog to push the rewind button and share the summer of 09'. and recall the WE that WE always are......
