A NEW egg for EASTER

E got herself a different kind of egg for Easter this year. These are the cutest little toys! They holler at their seeker. They say things like, "yoohoo, I'm hiding" and when they are found you can turn them off by opening them and seeing a cute little surprise inside.

What was not included in the package these eggs came in was a disclaimer regarding what happens when the child is too young to understand "hiding" and chases the MomBE down to retrieve the egg because she thinks the MomBE is trying to take it away.

RESULT......

As I said, A NEW egg for Easter

God LOVE HER!

Recipe for Respite

We like having PLAY stations in our house, and not the kind you plug into a television

On each table throughout the house I put different toys for the kids to play with, we then walk around to each station to see what is available. Mommy sets the timer for five minutes, and says ready..set....go! The kids play independently for an absurd amount of time, changing stations when the timer rings. And mommy.....RESPITE!
And if that does not work.....
There is ALWAYS the closet!

giggle, giggle, snort

The 101......Dyeing an Easter Egg

1) Strip the 2 and 3 year old completely to try to avoid the inevitable MESS
2)Fill the cute little containers with the colored tablet, vinegar, and then cold water...
Place the eggs in their cute little container homes.....

Show them off with the Dad-O once they are removed from the containers.........

Oh, and DON'T EAT the little red tablet JUST BECAUSE it looks like CANDY!!!!!
