Today was a low key day starting with our advent rituals and wind-up Santas. I have said it before, but worthy of being said again, B and E find great joy in such small things. I adore this about my babies and am so proud that even a simple toy and TIME mean the world to these two. Last night we had a chance to see the Dad-o in his principal roll at the 2nd grade Christmas program, what a blessing to see these sweet 7ish year olds sing and dance and the parents bursting with pride. B and E were a superb audience, and I could not help but think of how too soon it will be them on stage and me in the audience. But for today, I am thankful they are in my arms, finding simple pleasures.
